Pricing Partners co-organize a conference on Valuation and Transparency
Paris-London: Pricing Partners www.pricingpartners.com, a world leader in mathematical models and analytics for the valuation of derivatives and structured products and the independent valuation expert, announced today that it will co-organize a conference on Valuation and Transparency in financial markets. The conference will take the form of round tables with intervention from market professionals.
The conference will be part of the "Rendez-Vous de la Finance in Paris” co-organized with Lunalogic, a consulting company, and Prime Source, the NYSE Euronext valuation subsidiary. It will take place on Thursday 18 June 2009 18:00 to 20:15 at the NYSE Euronext auditorium in PARIS.
After an introductory speech by Mr Marc Litzler, former head of Calyon, a first round table will tackle the marked to market versus the marked to model valuation. It will gather Mr Laurent Olivier Valigny, Head of Market Risk from HSCB, Mr Olivier Bibiano, Risk Manager from La Banque Postale AM, and Mr Bernard Lapeyre, Professor of Financial Mathematics at Les Ponts Paritech. It will be moderated by Mr Eric Benhamou, Pricing Partners CEO.
A second roundtable will address the impact and risk management of funding and counterparty risk for the valuation of derivatives. Mr Arnaud Lhoste, Head of Sales for Fixed Income Structured Products in France at Société Générale, Mr Olivier Ferret, Quantitative Analyst at Natixis Asset Mangement, and Mr Stéphane Kourganoff, former head of trading in Fixed income and credit market at Ixis CIB and founder of ESTER will be discussing these issues. This panel will be moderated by Olivier Champagne, Managing Partner at Straper.
Last but not least, Sofiene Haj Taieb, Deputy Head of Equity and Derivatives, Société Générale will conclude the conference.
